Franklin, MA (June, 2004) -- Biomatic Inc. announces the release of its enhanced BioCHARTT^SM -- a real-time environmental monitoring system that fills the industry need for a sophisticated, yet economical, method for monitoring and recording temperature, humidity, CO₂, and other parameters.

BioCHARTT^SM is specifically designed for biotech, pharmaceutical, and regulatory compliant laboratories. The robust system monitors multiple devices while also meeting the stringent requirements of GLP/GMP environments.

BioCHARTT^SM is a full-featured system based on our clients’ need for a cost effective, easy to use, and yet sophisticated real-time monitoring and data storage system for refrigerators, freezers, stability chambers, ovens, clean rooms, indoor and outside conditions, and various other lab equipment. 

BioCHARTT^SM provides on-demand email and phone text message alarm conditions to notify a single person or multiple parties of problems related to the function of the devices. Set the alarm conditions based on temperature or humidity rise or drop within a time window. View, print, and save error logs for future use.

Initial setup of BioCHARTT^SM permits the monitoring of up to 10 devices. Upgrades permit the monitoring of up to 60 devices throughout a facility.

Display and review archived data remotely, change scale to optimize charts, and print charts and data for further analysis and regulatory compliance requirements. Charts can also be 'played back' to permit a visual review of monitored devices.

Data is stored in ASCII format with a time/date stamp of each data point and the name of each device. Print the data or open the file with MS Excel for further data analysis.

The BioCHARTT^SM  system employs hardware and software that Biomatic has used regularly for the last seven years to perform IQ, OQ, PQ validation.
