West Haven is home to Bayer’s research in cancer, diabetes and obesity as well as all North American pharmaceutical development.
Biomatic will provide comprehensive on-site service
and validation support for Bayer Pharmaceuticals’ West Haven facility,
allowing Bayer to concentrate on science and technology. Biomatic’s
program will allow Bayer to minimize system downtime and operational
costs while maximizing operational efficiency and enhancing overall
system readiness.

Biomatic’s other offices are in the Boston area and in Raleigh, North Carolina. The North Carolina office is assisting BASF Corporation Research & Development in its move from Princeton, New Jersey, to RTP. Biomatic is in the process of relocating several hundred laboratory instruments and equipment to various sites in the United States and Europe for BASF, said Dr. Tehrani. Biomatic's services for BASF include inventory of all laboratory assets and IQ OQ PQ validation for a range of sophisticated laboratory instruments including HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, spectrophotometers and other instruments.
